Modeling the Effect of Organizational Justice on Organizational Virtue with regard to the Mediating Role of Organizational Citizenship Behavior among Staffs in Sports and Youth Departments of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province

Abstract

Purpose: Since the activities of the sports and youth departments as a vital organization in the training of efficient and effective human resources in the field of sport and education in the country are important, and on the other hand,The purpose of this study was to modeling the effect of organizational justice on organizational virtue with regard to the mediating role of organizational citizenship behavior among the staff of sport and youth departments in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province.
Methodology: The present study was applied in terms of purpose and in terms of collecting information, field and correlation. The statistical population of the research consisted of all employees of sport and youth departments of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province (162 people). The sample was 118 people and selected randomly by random sampling based on Krejcy and Morgan's tables. The research tools included Organizational Justice Questionnaire Nijouf and Murman (1993), Organizational Citizenship Behavior (2000), and Organizational Virtue of Cameron et al. (2004), whose validity and reliability were confirmed. To analyze the data, descriptive statistics, structural equation modeling and Smart PLS2 and SPSS19 softwares were used.
Results:The results of the research showed that the proposed model of the research is suitable fit. There is a direct and significant relationship between organizational justice and organizational virtue, and approximately 60% of this connection is explained through the mediating variable of organizational citizenship behavior.
Conclusion:Since justice and citizenship behaviors are influential on organizational virtue, they should be addressed by the managers of the sports and youth departments.
