Background&Purpose: With the outbreak of the Covid-19 disease, quarantine policy was implemented, which has different consequences for athletes. Therefore, the purpose of the present study was to investigate the concerns of elite athletes during the quarantine period. This qualitative research was conducted using a phenomenological approach. Among all of the national team and the country's Premier League athletes, 42 athletes from different sports were selected via snowball sampling methods. The collected data were analyzed by the Colaizzi’s method. The findings revealed 4 main themes including lack of motivation, cognitive anxiety, physical anxiety, and negative self-assessment. Findings from verbal evidence showed that elite athletes experienced anxiety, lack of motivation, and negative self-esteem in quarantine condition, and that support is needed to solve the existing issues. It is suggested that elite athletes be present in the training camp in quarantine conditions and that a sports psychology coaches be used with the team as much as possible.
